Factory Updates

We are a centre for those with an interest towards the artform of acting. We design programs and projects with the intention of producing innovative, inspiring and creative productions for screen and stage to challenge the developing skills and minds of each individual.

Arts Factory Acting Program
Enrolments for group acting
The program is open to those at all levels of acting and performance. It is an inspirational journey which brushes up on working methods and introduces brand new skills. There are two performances in the year which occur at the end of Term 2 and 4. Term 1 and 3 focus on teaching some of the following: - Voice - Characterisation techniques - Acting techniques - Improvisational theatre - Movement - Classical and contemporary texts Term 2 and 4 undergo rehearsals for performances to be staged at the end of the term. The types of performance pieces include some of the following: - Classical theatre - Contemporary theatre - Choral Speaking Choir - Physical Theatre
Term Dates Mondays 6.30-9.30pm Term 1 6th February to 27th March Term 2 24th April to 12th June (performing 17th June) Term 3 10th July to 28th August Term 4 9th October to 27th November (performing 2nd December) Fees (All prices include GST) $352.00 per term Special $633.60 if paying 2 terms in advance
